Mary Mitchell

Mary has 35 years + experience working as a hearing therapist in both the NHS and the private sector, specialising in the management of tinnitus, hyperacusis (sound sensitivity), hearing impairment, balance dysfunction and the related psychological distress of these conditions.
Through personalised therapy programmes, the person learns to reduce the symptom- related distress of these conditions. Mary collaborates with the person to address their specific issues and concerns, thereby enabling the person to develop their own resources to manage their problem effectively. Mary has contributed significantly to the development of regional, UK and European Guidelines on deafness, hearing impairment and tinnitus.
